You have the right to life, and the government cannot intentionally kill you except as punishment for a serious crime after a fair trial, and only if the highest appeal court confirms the death sentence. A person accused of a crime cannot be executed unless their conviction and sentence are reviewed and upheld by the highest court. Additionally, no one has the right to end the life of an unborn child, unless the law specifically allows it. This means abortion is not a personal right but may be permitted only if a law says so.

No person shall be deprived of life intentionally except in execution of a sentence passed in a fair trial by a court of competent jurisdiction in respect of a criminal offence under the laws of Uganda and the conviction and sentence have been confirmed by the highest appellate court.
